Detailed Design Specification |
On completion of the entire project, all the individual task design specifications will be collated into a single document file. This will file will include any annotated notes the programmer may have made etc. while working on your project. A copy of this file can be supplied to the client. Generally, we would expect to keep the original file in order to assist us in any future maintenance or technical issues that may arise in the future. |
Once all the coding of the contract is completed and the Project Test Specification document is completed the software will be tested using the procedures detailed in the Test Specification. If any faults are found then the deficient parts of the system will be re-visited to rectify the outstanding problems and the tests re-applied. This process will continue until the software satisfies all of the test criteria, at which point the contract coding stage will be deemed complete. The results of all tests carried out will be documented, and may be provided to the client if requested, alternatively the tests can be executed at the client's own premises. |
The last stage of the contract may be for us to provide user documentation. This documentation will clearly describe what the contract software provides and how to use it. |
At the end of every contract undertaken by the company a review of original cost estimates, against actual costs will take place. This will be carried out by at least one of the directors in conjunction with all personnel who had involvement with the contract. Wherever possible Applied Software Engineering likes to invite the client to attend these contract reviews. This final analysis allows us to continually review our effectiveness to the client, and ensures that the best possible service is provided to all our customers, especially you! |
